1. Service Overview
Creative Artistic Works (CAW) offers a professional proxy service to manage the technical and administrative burden of the submission process. We serve as your administrative representative, ensuring your materials are delivered to your chosen targets in strict accordance with their unique submission guidelines.
2. Tiered Service Structure
Our submission services are organized into tiers based on the volume of recipients. You may select the tier that best aligns with your current querying strategy:
- Tier 1: 1–5 Submissions
- Tier 2: 6–10 Submissions
- Tier 3: 11–20 Submissions
- Tier 4: 21+ Submissions
3. Scope of Service
Upon completion of the onboarding process and your formal authorization for CAW to act on your behalf, our representatives will:
- Requirement Matching: Review the specific submission guidelines for each target agent or publisher to ensure the correct materials (e.g., query letter, synopsis, sample pages) are included.
- Light Tailoring: Adjust the salutations and basic metadata of your materials to ensure they are personalized to each specific recipient.
- Submission Fulfillment: Execute the submission via the recipient's preferred channel (e.g., QueryManager, online portals, or email).
- Delivery Notification: Provide you with a formal notification of the exact time and date each submission was completed.
4. Surcharge Notification for physical deliveries
Most agents and publishers only accept electronic delivery for query submissions; however, if you identify and/or elect to submit physical copies of your query to an agent or publisher, each physical submission is subject to surcharges for
- Handling (labor to print, collate, and ship packet)
- Printing ($0.20 per page)
- Shipping (based on shipping method chosen)
5. Administrative Limitations
This is an administrative-only service.
- No Editorial Authority: CAW does not edit, rewrite, or critique the content of the author’s work.
- Author-Provided Content: The author is responsible for providing the final version of all creative materials and the list of intended destinations.
- Formatting Only: Our role is limited to formatting and organizing your existing content to meet the technical specifications of the destination.
