Our Origin:
Inspired by an Author for all Authors

Creative Artistic Works (CAW), L.L.C., was inspired by an author who, despite having "completed" several books, struggled to navigate the complex publishing world. The industry demands much more than just a written story.  It demands a comprehensive, professional journey from initial concept to printed book.

Prompted by the author's concerns, Katharine Ball Ricks, PhD, a staunch advocate for creative development founded Creative Artistic Works, L.L.C. Her philosophy is that creative works should not be hidden behind unnecessary bureaucracy. Ultimately, CAW reflects Kathie’s belief that it shouldn’t take a PhD to get creative works in front of an audience.
